"Behind every bottle, there are hands, stories and a shared future."
People from Cetwico
Cetawico was built by people. Not just winemakers or agronomists, but farmers, technicians, and community members who chose to believe in something that had never been done before in central Tanzania. Today, over 110 people work alongside us, not just as employees, but as the living foundation of this project.
The people who make it possible
Our team brings together local expertise and international knowledge. Tanzanian farmers who have learned viticulture from scratch, technicians trained in modern oenological practices, and managers committed to building something that lasts. Every role matters. Every person contributes to the quality in your glass.
Growing knowledge, not just grapes
One of Cetawico 's founding commitments is investing in people's skills. From the beginning, we have provided hands-on training in viticulture, cellar management, quality control and sustainable farming practices. Many of our team members started with no prior experience in winemaking. Today, they are the backbone of our production.
A winery that gives back
We believe that a winery has a responsibility beyond its cellar walls. Our presence has created stable employment, supported local families and contributed to the economic independence of the communities around Dodoma. When you choose a Cetawico wine, you are part of this story.
